We do not believe regular Corn Flakes is a healthy product as it has does not have the requisite levels of dietary fibre and is high on the Glycemic Index.
The Glycemic Index (GI), simply put, is a measure of how quickly a food causes our blood sugar levels to rise. The measure ranks food on a scale of zero to 100. Oligofructose is a naturally occurring soluble fibre essential for maintaining a beneficial balance of bacteria in the lower gut. A balance of good bacteria in the gut has many proven benefits including lower chance of colon cancer, better absorption of nutrients, lower cholesterol, better glucose metabolism and better immune health.
